As vehicles driving along the Yaxue Road towards the Yabuli Ski Resort—the venue for the snow sports of the 9th Asian Winter Games—the cheerful melody of the theme song "Snow in Harbin" resonates through the frosty air, harmonizing with the friction between the wheels and the icy road. With the 9th Asian Winter Games approaching, Harbin has embraced technology innovation to create a vibrant and immersive atmosphere, welcoming athletes and visitors from both China and abroad.
Most of the technological empowerment relies on the support of electricity. Inside the power supply command center for the Asian Winter Games, the realistic 3D rendering of the Harbin International Conference, Exhibition and Sports Center comes to life on the screen. As the staff operates the system, the screen switches to the interior of the venue, with information about the status of various power supply and consumption equipment, as well as the routing of transmission and distribution lines, clearly visible.
Behind the operations lies the support of technology. To ensure the efficient and reliable power supply for the comprehensive command during the Asian Winter Games, State Grid Heilongjiang Electric Power Company has constructed a Digital Power Supply Command Platform that deeply integrates business data and connects more than 14 power grid service systems. It monitors in real time the power data of 52 substations, 158 transmission lines, and 435 distribution stations involved in the power supply for the Games, providing a continuous flow of energy for safety assurance, emergency command, and information display during the event.
